Q&A's
Q: What makes your olive oil unique?
A: Our olive oil is cold-pressed, organic, and extra virgin, made from olives grown on the very grove inherited by my grandmother Samira over 60 years ago. Each bottle embodies her legacy of resilience and nurturance, offering unmatched quality and a taste rooted in tradition.
Q: What does “cold-pressed” mean, and why is it important?
A: Cold-pressed means the oil is extracted without heat or chemicals, preserving its natural flavor, nutrients, and antioxidants. It ensures our olive oil is pure, healthy, and retains the highest quality.
Q: Where are your olive trees located?
A: Our trees grow in a family-owned grove in the Southern part of Lebanon, named after my grandmother Samira. Lebanon lies to the east of the Mediterranean region. The olive grove is situated on a hill facing west. The trees are exposed to sunlight from sunrise to sunset, all day long. Olive trees need at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day to remain healthy and maintain their good flavor.
Q: Why is your olive oil organic?
A: We are committed to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. Our grove is cultivated without harmful pesticides or chemicals, ensuring that our olive oil is not only good for you but also for the planet. And to make it extra, the olives are cold-pressed within 24 hours of being picked by hand.
Q: What inspired the name of your brand?
A: The brand is named after my grandmother Samira, a remarkable woman whose strength, discipline, and grace inspired generations. Her story is at the heart of every bottle of our olive oil.
Q: How do you ensure the quality of your olive oil?
A: We oversee every step of the process, from nurturing the olive trees to carefully harvesting and cold-pressing the olives. Our commitment to tradition and quality ensures that each bottle meets the highest standards.
Q: What are the health benefits of your olive oil?
A: Our cold-pressed organic extra virgin olive oil is rich in healthy fats, antioxidants, and vitamins. It promotes heart health, reduces inflammation, and adds a flavorful boost to your diet.
Q: How can I use your olive oil?
A: Our olive oil is versatile! Use it for cooking, drizzling over salads, dipping fresh bread, or even as a finishing touch for your favorite dishes to enhance their flavor.
Q: Is your olive oil suitable for people with dietary restrictions?
A: Yes! Our olive oil is naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan, making it an excellent choice for anyone with dietary restrictions or preferences. It's also ideal for those following heart-healthy, Mediterranean, or paleo diets.
Q: How should I store your olive oil?
A: To preserve the flavor and nutritional benefits, store your olive oil in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keeping it tightly sealed will ensure that it stays fresh and retains its full flavor for longer.
Q: Do you offer olive oil in different sizes?
A: Yes, we offer a range of sizes to fit your needs, from smaller bottles for everyday use to larger ones for cooking and restaurants. We also provide bulk options for businesses and catering services.
